You and me both mate, the main thing was he came through. Expect him to kick on now, at least he didn't cave in like Barney when he went 2 down.

| Now Taylor's said in his post match interview Nicholson must be in the Premier League you watch him be handed a wildcard. I don't see why all the Sky team are saying he should be in it, he's not good enough yet. He'll struggle to make the 4 IMO. There's players like Newton and Webster much more deserving of a place than Nicholson, better and more consistent players.
Think we'll be seeing a Taylor v Wade final Sunday unless Webster pulls another big game out of the bag tomorrow.

| Taylor's been different class tonight against Webster. 4-0 and webster was never in it.
Wade was pushed by the pie man tonight as well. That was a good game.

| That was a night of darts I didn't expect, Brendan Dolan hitting a 9 darter and then beating James Wade comfortably. I did expect a Wade/Taylor final but not it'll be a comfortable Taylor win without any sort of opposition.

Has Taylor ever played worse and won a final??? Dolan was obviously a bit overwelmed by the occassion but what was Taylor's excuse.

Probably underwelmed and he looked ill to me during part of the game. Thought the match was boring to be honest.

I don't think he had, none that I can remember anyway. I think Taylor's night was summed up by the leg where he took 11 darts to get a double, had he played Wade we might well have been looking at a different result. I though Dolan played well for the most part, his biggest issue was starting off after he'd broken Taylor's throw, could never seem to capitalise.

Think even Taylor is allowed an off day.Admittedly his game was well off,and if Dolan had taken his chances who knows?
If he had played as he did against Wade I reckon he would have done it.

I don`t know if Wade was affected by the crowd.I know people say you should shut it out,but it must be hard when you get booed every time you go to the oche.

Fair comment and perhaps if he had faced a player like Wade or Barney in good form he would have raised his game I guess his off day made it a better final and we should be grateful it was not a 6-0 in no time job and Dolan had a few glory moments along the way.
