Looking good now TNT (BT) have thrown their hat in the ring. So we have Sky, DAZN and Channel 4( don’t think they are in a position to bid) I think we’ll stick with sky but hopefully this will improve the money we get. Now just to sit back and watch the RFL screw it up

I would be happy for BT to get it so long as they don’t take that bellend Wilkin with them.

I would rather BT get it for 25m than SKY increase to 30m and keep it.



Needs a fresh approach

Only issue with BT is we may drop in views as people can’t justify paying extra for BT and won’t leave Sky Sports due to the Prem being on it. It would be good if they struck up a deal like Channel 4 were none telivised games would be shown on BT like they do with the Prem. Issue comes is RL doesn’t have that much pulling power for BT to request that

How much is BT? Surely it's way cheaper than Sky Sports? And dunno about you guys, but I wouldn't be prepared to pay that much just to see 'other' SL matches (considering Wigan games are all on Wigan TV eventually, and I go to most of them anyway); I'm already paying to watch all the NRL games.

A lot of Prem fans will have BT sport as well because they have games as well as Champions League.

I don't have Sky, Pieman. I have the NRL online (great value, I think), and Wigan TV.

There's a package for 18 quid a month (although there is an up-front charge), but I think you need another black box (which they supply)? Thinking of cancelling my Watch NRL after this season to be honest. It did used to be good value, especially if you shared the account and payments with a mate, but i found out this week that NRL upload all their games in full to youtube now.



Admittedly a few days after, but i can live with that to save the money and will just avoid the scores while i wait for the upload.

Don't think they upload every game do they? Just the "big ones"

It does seem like they have started uploading them all.



Round 20 which is the weekend just gone, they have uploaded 5 of the games so far, one currently premiering and the final game showing just after that.

I’ve had Watch NRL for about 3 years now and couldn’t do without it. I don’t have time to watch all the games, I just watch the 18 min highlight videos instead. I do watch some at weekends especially now both of my lads football seasons have finished, usually just the bigger games



I watch a lot of the shows. Face to face on a Mon, Matty Johns podcast with Cronk on a Tues, The Fan on a Wed and then the Matty Johns Show on a Thursday and a Sunday.



Sometimes if I have time I’ll watch NRL 360 too.



I think it’s great value for the amount I watch and even better when I can stream it wirelessly to my TV and it’s still HD quality.

Pretty much the same. I subscribe to this instead of Sky Sports.
