Back when i was doing security at morrisons leigh i asked him why he was not at wigan and he told me straight it was because he didnt impress wane with his effort and attitude and that he had been sent to leigh to sort himself out,that obviously didnt have the desired effect it seems he is happy being at a small club rather than having any ambition to win trophies

Just after he signed for Wigan he was sent out on DR to Workington and actually played for them at Barrow. Leigh heard about this and invoked a "clause" in his transfer that if he went out on loan from Wigan it had to be to them and he ended up back at Leigh "on loan". Wigan should have done what Leigh did re. Hock and told Rowley they will decide who he goes to on loan.
