While this proves we were right to allow him to leave, you have to feel for the lad, terrible news.



Makes you wonder what realistic chance he has of resurrecting his career once again.

Sad... Always gave his all.

He's a guy who always gave his all when he could get himself on the field and seemed a very popular lad with his teamates. I couldn't really begrudge him a move because he obviously felt he'd be behind guys like Flower and Lauaki here as well as the front liners like Mossop, Lima, Prescott and Fielden.



A real shame for the lad.

As for the injury. What rotten luck that lad suffers. I'm sure he and many of us thought a change of club would be the best thing for him in shedding this bad luck.

It's a shame for O'Carroll, he was starting to play really well, he always runs the ball in hard and tackles hard in defence and really enthusiastic when he came on ,however from what I've read it is 6 weeks rather than 6 months unless I misheard. Hopefully he will be back sooner rather than later.

he had his best game for us last week against the bulls, he's out for 6 weeks which is a blow were missing him, moa and O'meley.

I thought i'd read 6 weeks in the paper so hopefully that right.



The lad deserves some luck.
