It was 2006 in the dark days of Millward IIRC.

My mate had me going for a while, Barrett didn't play in his first match, Huddersfield friendly and i asked why isn't he? He replied because it says in his contract he doesn't want to play in the rain.

No, we didn't sign him. He played one trial game at Orrell and had a terrible game.

Sean Long couldn't play under the floodlights for a spell last year due to his eye if you remember.

IIRC he had a good game for New Zealand 'A' against GB/England.

I was at Orrell for the game he played and I have never seen a fullback have a worst nightmare of a game - and I'm including Richie Mathers' career in that.
