St Helens coach Mick Potter has warned Wigan his side will test the mettle of teenage tryscoring sensation Shaun Ainscough if his counterpart Brian Noble decides to risk him in Saturday's derby at Murrayfield.

'If Noble decides to risk him'
What sort of risk is it playing a guy thats got 16 trys in 10 games including 2 against Saints and had Ade 'fall over the line' Gardner in his back pocket for the match.
You live and learn by your mistakes and if he's made any he's always bounced right back.

Hopefully we'll pay no notice to those comments what so ever.
He's only trying to encourage Noble to stack on one side which will obviously stretch our defence to wait for the high kick to Ainscough's wing when within our own 30/40M.
If we do that, then they'll just run and score every fouth/fifth tackle, probably. |

My insurance is at the bottom of that post.
The kids made mistakes but the most impressive thing about him is how he's bounced back from them and he'll continue to do so.
If Gardner does anything to him Saturday it won't be through his own good work..............as per usual. |
