I think we need 3/4 players still. Squad of 26. That includes Davis/Davies/Meadows/Ogden and Boafo. All promising youngsters but a tough ask for them all to jump straight into the first team if needed next season. I would have thought some DR time in the Champ would do them good. Then add Fleming who could not even get a game in the champ last season. Need some quality incomings still. No making do with playing blokes out of position etc.

And his last coach plus other members of staff told him he would do well to get that out of his head.

3 SL Chairmen have rung Noble to find out if Toronto are ready to step up should they be required.



It started a few weeks ago when Salford asked for even more of their central funding up front to pay HMRC and were refused. Their rep in the meeting was asked if they can guarantee finishing the season and he couldn't give a straight answer and just started waffling on about possibilities. Last week they were told they would not be getting anymore money in advance.



They are in a big hole. A very big hole.

Maybe we could pick Hastings up from them!

It’s sad that this sort of thing is even being rumoured! If it was to happen it’s a pretty major upheaval, this close to start of the season.

Does go to show what a poor state the game is actually in, I think a lot of clubs are only just surviving

If Salford were to be unable to fulfill their commitments to Super League. Surely it would only be right for Widnes to be given back the place they lost through relegation.

Thought we might have had an open day maybe with the opportunity to buy clothing and season tickets etc promote Super league, Bring Tony Adams along, whatever it takes.....



But nothing. If there is one constant in London RL maybe its this.

Unless I have missed it, i dont really recall seeing anything much about the new season, in terms of attracting new fans. Nothing about special/new ideas for matchday etc. All very well posting on the clubs twitter, but you are preaching to the converted

In previous years we have had a pre christmas training session/shirt launch event. It was pretty well attended and the shop did good business. Seems to have gone by the board this year though!

Looks like we have an open training session on 12th January. You need to go online to get a ticket. 10.30 am start.
