No one’s a bigger critic of Wood Green than me and my abiding memory of the ground is the sheer volume of bird s##t in the stands but as I reflect on the likelihood of being accosted by a crack whore on the journey from Tooting Broadway to Plough Lane tomorrow -I’d say evens if last year is anything to go by, and the hassle of getting to the Rock I think it’s fair to say a lot of London is a bit of a s##t hole really and central Wood Green does have a good range of restaurants and crucially the journey is fairly easy for once for me,if a Saturday afternoon journey on the North circular can ever be easy. Happy days. I’m in.

So far so good- 26-0 at the break, pretty comfortable first half. A few nice tries too

Super first half. Awful drop off after half time, esp with Bienek off.  Brain seemed to go with O'Bierne injury.  Also getting knocked about by them a lot too.

Some of the Dewsbury tackling was a bit ‘agricultural’. Poor second half, not a single point scored. Didn’t really threaten too much either. At least we scored enough in the first 40 minutes to avoid another Goole result but it was a very poor second 40.

Walker was positive again. I’d like to see Tindall and Thewliss get more of the ball in progressive situations as they clearly can burn off most players at this level. Thought Mason had good first half. 2nd half team just huffed and puffed didn’t really create. Too many handling errors, Hopefully O bear E injury not serious.
