First 10 minutes killed us. There speed at the ruck was massively quicker than ours.

Real shame, thought we were going to pull it back.

They were there for the taking and if forward passes were called and the ref had had the balls to put them on a team warning for the mucking around at the play the ball we might have got something out of it. We need an on field leader, whilst Eddie's kickwas decent it really shouldnt be down to him

Another game we will look back on at the end of the season and cry over. We threw that one away with some lousy play at the start of both halves. The first 15 minutes in particular was disgusting, non other word for it. Completely threw it away.



The payers just aren't learning from their mistakes.

We dont seem able to capitalise on penalties, we got a couple of decisions in decent field position but came away with nothing. Most of our games this season we have actually won the penalty count but cant turn it into points.

Speed at the ruck was the big difference

Looking at penalty count alone is rather simplistic. It depends on when and where they are awarded.

Look at most games 2 penalties in close succession more often than not ends up in a try. It's a fact this season we have generally been on the better side of the penalty count, and those penalties are spread around the field just like any other team, unless yr suggesting we only get penalties deep in our own half which is ridiculous.

I don't have any data on where we get penalties or whether they tend to be in succession. However, there is clearly a lot more to it than simply the count of penalties.

Both teams passed the ball forward like most teams do when watching on the box.

Some you get and some you don`t.

It`s a bit like the obstruction rule, tackling the man in the air or lifting the legs over the horizontal.

All in all it`s a lottery.

Leeds were poor and have been most of the last two seasons and just about deserved the 2 points imo.
