If the rumours are true and we're in talks with 2 other props, surely this means that Evans and/or Spencer will not be retained?

as it stands we have 21 signed up. Moss, Amor, Morgan and Richards rumoured. Add Sammutt, Spencer and Evans we would have 28. Add a HB and that will be about right for me. We need strength in depth, we were stretched last season in the Champ, we cant afford to fudge players out of position next season, we need to give ourselves the best chance of staying up. That 28 also includes guys like Ogden, Davis and Fleming.

Good list. I assume Davis/Ogden go out on loan to Skolars? Fleming, DW had no faith in Fleming in Champs, I cant see that changing in SL.



Adding a HB. i agree but they are few and far between, so where are we going to find one? Hence my comments here and elsewhere about Api. Sammutt is a must and whilst I agree Api is injury prone, and I suspect is probably going to leave, if he wants to stay I would sign him up, because he covers centre and HB

Re HB, there is always someone available, price could be the issue though

Of course, but we have wasted money on marquee players in the past, we have meadows, though I think SL will be a step too far for I’m at the moment.



If not API, then not sure who is available and affordable, don’t know what our scouting network is like in Aus anymore? If we could find a Dorn or Moran great..........

I reckon Mason is a good signing for you. He had a good, consistent season at Leigh, until he got injured, near the end. He's big, athletic and plays his weight. I reckon he'll do fine in SL. Well done on getting Pelissier too. In my opinion, he wasn't given a fair chance at Leigh, in SL, but he seemed to go well for you, at the back end of the season. I reckon both these guys are SL players, and not makeweights.
