I thought it might be the Cogger who used to play for Oldham, he was a terrific player.

That's his uncle and yes he was a good player

Watson is quoted as saying that Cogger's signing brings competition at half back so Gasky may be staying. Cogger has also played at no.9 for the Bulldogs so gives us cover in a couple of positions. Gaskell can also play in centres if needed.

Seems to give us a bit of X factor . Trying to not get too excited but got no idea what the squad will look like by the time the season starts

With all the activity (ins and outs) it really makes next season one to look forward to with confidence for a change. Perhaps we should all compliment the club on the actions they have taken. I know a lot of people were unhappy when Simon Woolford's contract was not extended but the changes that have taken place since show the determination of the club's management to move the club forward, well done Ken and Richard.

Don’t get carried away we need to make sure that our ins are better than our outs and that the new coach gets the best out of them before getting too giddy.
