not exactly filling me joy seeing those names we are bringing in or rumoured to be......in fact they are no better than what were getting rid of IMO.

The confirmed signings bring two things

LOTS of pace

Chan lots of tackle busts that will help our wingers

Kirmond will be announced when JE is back from his hols

players might not want to come , signing a 2 yr deal then your coach leaving half way through the deal



anyhow the squad barring maybe one or two more deals is more of less done for next season.

smaller squad, bit more quality in the replacements if we get injuries and continuity

Anyone who wants an early view of TONKS can see him in action for FEV in the championship playoffs on Sky on sunday 4pm i think.

Hope Tonka goes really well for you, he's been a Giant (pun intended) at Fev for the last couple of years. He will be sorely missed at Post Office Road, but deserves his shot at the big time. If you're not using him, can you please DR him back to us?

What's the name of this prop from Whitehaven who Wire snaffled for next season? How do the two of them compare?

It is Chris Hill from Leigh. I spotted him at the begining of the season and contacted the club about him as a potential signing.

Young , big and aggressive reminds me of Hock.

Could be a good signing i reckon but i also though Kyle Amor would be a good signing but he has hardly set the world alight.

Tonks is AFAIK described as the second best prop in the championship after , you guessed it Chris Hill

Tonks didn't make the Dream Team. His team mate Stuart Dickens pipped him. Dickens was at Salford for a season a few years ago IIRC.
