My prediction for next season. 6th at best. IMO we haven't strengthened our side in any area. Wigan, wire, saints, Leeds, and Catalan will be above us in the table.

As will the 2 Hull clubs and possibly Cas too!!!



Ah well NB off at the end of the season and a new broom and all that.

ryles 5 yrs ago maybe, not now, his short stint with catalans didnt pull up any trees so why go for him? roosters released him because he was on too much money, if we are signing dross like tommy lee im guessing we are not awash with spare money

we struggled in the forwards at the end of last season. We have let go four decent players who played at prop for us last season and signed one player who hasnt played at this level. We need SOMETHING! even wasting our best running second rower by playing him at prop still leaves us short.

Agree with you Jools .......i think we are very, very short in the forwards ....we need a couple of confidence boosting signings.

If it's correct that you have got Phil Joseph then you have got a real good player on his day.



He has been a star for us last season and along with the late Dana Wilson, will be very hard for the Lions to replace.



I do agree that the only negative would be the jump in class to super league but he will give you 100%, if not send him back to Swinton i'd have him in my side any day.

How negative can we be - and yes I know it's a forum for expressing personal opinions, so we must just have a lot of negative fans.

Re-signings and departures. We finished 4 th last year, and we will all agree that that was actually a disappointment , so our team must in reality be quite a good one. We have let go one regular first 17 starter in griff and signed in my eyes one regular first team starter in chan.

The other signings have been to make the squad younger, quicker and better.it was obvious that many of our squad Nathan did not think were good enough hence not playing them and pushing others to return from injury too soon.

A good preseason will help many - eg simpson etc

If Nathan now thinks he has a better squad I am happy.



Having said all that another big mean prop would make me feel extactic





I think we have a pacey and exciting squad for next season.
