Matagi was good again last night. Think he’s exactly the type of prop we need. Tackles hard and often. Runs strong - and usually wins the ruck.

Which of our props aren't any good then? As we make absolutely no metres up field compared to teams coming the other way.

We stand and wait for the opposition to come to us, which gives them the momentum and allows them to make metres after contact, other teams push up quickly in defence and so stop our momentum with their own.

he did an 18min stint first half.... taai came on and changed the game for us



matagi came back on second half and gave away two penalties and was subbed soone after... how is that a good game?



and im sorry but we lose the ruck and collision in tackles far too often and it puts us under pressure, we need some size.... ikahihifo could help on that front but hes frozen out.



when you think how much of our salary cap is not playing it makes you wonder something has gone wrong....... uate / frawley / ikahihifo / cudjoe.... got to be 4 of our biggest earners... imagine any other team having the size of that out of their team.... and 3 of them can actually play right now!

So are you suggesting Matagi is dropped for seb

an in form seb id pick over most sl props in the league... shame woolford froze him out as he wants that cap space to bring someone else in.



a matagi one good game in every 7 or a seb 1 good game every 3?

matagi needs to be more consistent for me.

Seb didn’t have one good game in a season - if we are comparing what he showed he was capable of in 2017. He’s not been in form has he.

Not a fan of either Seb or Matagi. Seb was dire the whole of 2018, a fraction of the player he wasn't in 2017.



Matagi, like Brearley says has 1 good game every now and again, not adequate for me.

seb was ok in 2018...no worse than the rest, he had a few injury problems



for me we should have tried to get him back to the 2017 form, we know what he can do, but woolford went the wrong way about it and i thought it might end up how it had, what a waste

Woolford wanted to see him step up- he’s failed to do that- disappointing.

One thing woolford has banged on about since he arrived is resilience- has seb shown any resilience?

6-0 up we are in possession and instead of driving the ball upfield we go sideways force a pass and bingo 6-6



Murphy Stops the play the ball why?... bingo 10 minutes in the bin but on the one occasion we tried to take a quick one play is stopped ref out of position. Wakey do the same ref out of position play on ... consistency NO !!



Almost half time we give it to Mellor !!!! to kick bingo straight out ball back and right on half time try 16-10 ‘farcical’ We had chance to get the fullback before the pass but no..... we just look at him watch him run across the line and pass and try...



Then the Woolford team talk and we turn up after half time and get dominated and bullied... Give away another stupid try (Leroy) and again look as if we don't know each other.



If we can’t motivate with jobs on the line then we deserve everything we get !!!



Our line speed and drive 2nd half was so slow hadwe been the Titanic we would have missed the iceberg..

Having watched the highlights it looks even worse
