What is Sam's current situation at the club? Never seen him have a bad game. Hes always looked like a competent super league player. Great in defence and good at close range in attack.

I'm not sure, he's still with us, I'm sure I've seen photos of him at preseason training. He's always looked a good player and a good talker when I've seen him, maybe just a case that his face doesn't fit, or maybe will get his chance this year? Might be a good opportunity for him to play regularly in our systems with the reseves

the only person who’s been paired at half back With brough who has had brough say positive things about them that I can recall!

He may get a chance to shine in the reserves and with our centres not really set in stone For various reasons may get a chance to impress woolford and picked to be in first team

I'd forgotten about the time we had him playing in the halves, we've really struggled for HBs recently haven't we.

Not in the least surprising the way our pack has performed in that period. The last time we had a strong pack that held it's own Brough won man of steel and on the strength of that we won the Hubcap, Since then as you rightly say we have struggled . Hopefully the penny has finally dropped and the powers that be have realised that halves don't shine behind beaten forwards.
