Get the impression it might be Gagai although the games I saw him in this year were on the wing. I certainly feel more positive but depth isn't there in the squad if we lose key players.

Gagai will be our new full back with Tui & Clune in the halves, with Woolford at hooker.

I hadn't looked at squadnumbers last time i posted! Bibby at 3?!! No thanks. If he and Sutcliffe play regularly we will not be doing much at all. Definitely need another centre if he is pencilled in to start there, he's not even championship quality and i would put Sutcliffe at around the same level, pure squad players. Do we have another overseas space available still?

Pleased with the Wilson extended contract. Runs hard and got some speed. Really expect him to develop into an excellent prop.

Will be either Tui or Sutcliffe.

Liam Knight would be a good call now we have released Livett and Salabio.

We need to use overseas spots for backs, especially a halfback or speedy fullback, we are fine for forwards and already have Murchie using as spot up. We have some hungry young english forwards who will demand gametime (rightly so) in Wilson, Rushton, English and Hewitt so another aussie would not be a good move.



I am happy with the clearout, nearly got rid of all Watson's unimaginative Salford signing's now, just need to get rid of Bibby to have the decks more or less cleared.



Would still like to see another two quality backs signed, a centre and a fullback with pace, or another hooker with pace to interchange with woolford and i don't think we will look too bad.

Sorry H2 but according to Luke no more signings so you will have to stay disappointed and not watch the team (yet?).

Of course i will watch, why wouldn't i? I stopped watching when Watson was in charge because i couldn't stand his ridiculous excuses and the way he was running the club into the ground with his horrendous recruitment, but Robinson has my full backing. For what it's worth i predicted that we would finish 9th last year after the first few matches. Watson's tactics combined with our slow motion backline meant we never had a chance, but somehow he couldn't see it.



I will reserve judgment until i see us play this year, but we are gambling on a makeshift fullback and i still don't see speed around the ruck or a genuine support player with pace in the middle of the field so i remain rather pessimistic about our chances. With the legacy Watson left, combined with a ridiculous amount of our cap going on Tom Burgess when we need money spending on the spine it was always going to be an uphill struggle. Would love to be proved wrong.
