They poxed a last minute win out yesterday so that should see them in good stead, we had a comforable win over Salford so both teams have a little form coming into the game.



And we smashed them the over week





Us by 14

And Salford smashed us at home.

And Hull

And Saints

And Leeds

And Castleford



The fact is our home form is poor. If we play for 40 mins out of 80 again we will lose.

Question has been raised on the Wakey board will Scully and Korki be elligable to play this week. Do you know?

Can't see a Wakey win but "home forms not great is it " so you never know.



Anyway it will be nice to catch up with some old faces at the game

i think we should and could win i just dont think we will.





Our Home form is dire ( although only 4 SL teams have better home records than away). I have no idea why.



The games against Cas, Hull and Salford at home stand out as our worst performances all season ( apart from wire away).



I actually find it quite depressing going to home games this season.. Even my kids who mainly go to home games say they do not want to go because we never win and then dad is in a bad mood





I think it will be close and will come down to the ref, injuries and probably a big slice of luck.

As I've said on the Wakey forum, I think the dominant forward pack will win this game for their team. I thought the Castleford forwards were very good against us the other week and showed Wakey what they need to do to win. I'm hoping NB doesn't use the forwards in the same way he tried against Cas' because it didn't work.

Our only injury worries are Fatz and Jammer, everyone else has clean bill of health as we speak

Wakey forwards put Quins on the backfoot yesterday but one or two took knocks, we have a few possible injurie worries but after our game last time, they will have a point to prove.



Time will tell.

Gonna be a tough game, but I think so long as we dont put in another salford/cas/hull type performance we are doomed



If we put in a performance like Hull KR we will blow them off the park.

Probably the most obvious thing to say but how we start is so important. In our poorer performances an early mistake has resulted in the other team scoring and we have subsequently struggled to get going.



We don't necessarily need an early score just a few solid sets of six and then not do something dumb. Against both Salford and Cas we were winning the early stages, coming away from our line well and generally restricting the other teams field position. On both occasions though a poor kick, one from a penalty the other in general play, gave the other team good field position from which they scored. We then get anxious try to push our passes and start dropping ball all over.

Will be in Pittsburgh this upcoming weekend so will be missing this on the radio, likely too hung over to wake up for 10am
