Are there any favored eating places and somewhere to get a pint in Batley, ive only ever been direct to the ground before but the brother in law wants to get there early doors.

There's a Wetherspoon's at the bottom of the hill, but personally I doubt there are any restaurants within 20 miles of Batley that can come close to their chips & cheese or pie, peas and mint sauce!
