Funny you should say that TV Boy cos I saw Standish score an 80 metre interception try at Headingly and they were never going to catch him. His downfall was his slight frame which was a shame because he was a talent.

However Ledger was class. I remember the year after he and Ian Jeffrey helped us back into the old first division he swallowed his tongue at Leeds playing full back. However it said in the paper that he'd recovered enough to have a pint in the bar after the match. Absolute legend that guy

I remember that he probably cost us a place at Wembley in (1987 i think). He was playing for Saints and John Henderson was clean through and going under the sticks. Barry caught him from behind, and John Henderson was quite quick.
