I wouldn't have suspended them, espescially Sammut. BUT on the field, it's an EASY decision, they already thinking about next season. It's more of a 'message' to the players - DO NOT BREAK THE RULES. If there was relegation, surely they would confirmed it with this action, see they have drafted in 3 South Wales Scorpions players on loan. They could catch Wakefield, but that's irrelevant now. I guess if it's something REALLY serious, then it's not just a token gesture !!!
That's just my opinion.

Sammut has had hardly any game time this season - not favoured by Iestyn Harris. Whatever they have done the club wouldn't have taken the decision lightly. Anyway it gives more Welsh boys a chance to shine. Every cloud .......

Actually its a good point.
I'm pretty sure things like this have always gone on but in many cases with the threat of relegation there is no way you could have suspended such a chunk of your squad.
Have to say though it shows indiscipline (if indeed it is found to be that) won't be acceptable at Crusaders so good on them. |

So disappointed with Tansey but not surprised he's been involved in 'whatever'.
Sad thing is he's been playing really well, settling into the team and already become a fans' favourite.
Good the club has taken this stand - just wish we knew for sure what they'd done - after the performance against Huddersfield wouldn't be surprised if the speculation is true.
