We seem a good 14 short of a season.

That's the way I see it too. We are at the same levels, as at the start of the Shield last season. (albeit better quality)



- However, there appear to be more training, than the 14 announced so far. Perhaps Mike Latham is drawing breath, before the next round of

announcements?



- We will probably be relying on DR - with all it's advantages and pitfalls.

- Along with monty, and others, I have heard more names than announced so far.



Roll on the rest of the squad announcements, then let's get season tickets and replica kits out there, to boost funds. It would be a fantastic achievement to build up the trust of the fans again, and get 3k into LSV, for starters!

I don't see an issue with 3k plus at the LSV Alan. The intrigue alone of a new squad /staff will wet the appetite of many. Retaining that appetite is another thing.



As you say DR carries more negatives than positives,something I'm truly against but if needs must, then sobeit.

That's my view as well. I believe Mike Rush is keen to link up St.Helens with us even if only for 12 months. There are one or two half decent and hungry youngsters in that camp, just down the East Lancs Road

Mike Latham’s Centurions phone is now on pay as you go so there won’t be any more updates until Derek tops it up with a fiver next Tuesday. (Plus he has a keyboard problem so we can’t sign anyone with an R in their name)

Well, there appear to be more than 14 training, and I would quite like to see a few more names added, before we splash out on season tickets. The squad is just about at last season's Championship Shield levels, at the moment.



Perhaps there's another 'Black Friday' in a couple of days?

If there was more than 14 training,enlighten us Alan. Loans and DR are next. You said that yourself. Both are redundant as both have parent clubs. What marketing value is there taking on DR or loanees.. Possibly a couple more part time signings are on the cards,but I would imagine the funding is running a little low to see a full part time squad signed up.

The photos posted on social media show more than 14 attending training. Whilst I am itching to buy our s/t's, I would rather see more than 14 in our squad, before doing so - look how the back end of last season went, when we were down to numbers like that. And there is a limit to how many loan players you can put in the pitch. (except when the RL grants special dispensation for a Shield final!)
