No, our team is complete now we have signed Hodgson. We have strength in depth already with the likes of Mitchell, Mccarthy, Blythe, Williams and Cooper all capable of stepping into the side and doing a good job.

He seemed quite surprised I was pushing him on this matter and claims he has made the same statement many times.
I have heard from several sources that some of the youngsters coming through the ranks are very good - we also have to have EIGHT home grown players in the squad - on top of existing salaries I think you will find it would be very hard for warrington to make any big name signings without going over the salary cap - or off loading someone who is already signed up for next year and/or beyond.
Lets not forget if we had beaten Wigan at home (and we very nearly did) and done to Leeds what we did to them at Wembley - would would have finished top of the league and had an even more successful season.

Let is a nice thought but Wigan are improving since then.

With 3 players leaving and only 1 signed money must be tight. If were that close to the cap for next season you can only summise that Hodgson will be gettng paid the same as Mathers, Vanderson & Penny combined.

why would you summise that?

No one knows how close (or how far) we are off the salary cap... one thing we do know however is that we offered hodgson less than huddersfield did per year.
