5 games in and we all know how dreadful the team is playing as a whole but who has shone for you and who needs a good stint in the reserves ?

for me, in the 5 games, we have only had 1 consistent player and that is Mickey Higham
Even Moz and Hicks played badly at Quinns

Now the list of under performers is a bit more than 1.
Briers and Monaghan are the rugby equivalent of Gerrard and Lampard
King has no heart
Penny can't tackle or catch
Anderson brothers are average

Tony Smith has a big job on his hands, a lot bigger than i think he realised

rauhihi has been good to be fair, i think hes been 1 of our better players along with higham and carvell, wood has been decent too

the only trouble with rauh
for me is if he was just 5 mph quicker then he'd run at 6 mph. He's committed and plays with heart and i admit i like that but the guy is just so slow.

Slow but gets us metres which is what he is there for!

Those are the stand outs anyway

Nobody in this squad, has played anywhere near their potential this season yet, not one.

My biggest disappointment has probably been Blythe, I thought he was ready, time to kick on, establish himself etc. He was given the chance, hasn't taken it, just given away daft pens.

Ben Harrison isn't far behind too, off the back of a pretty good World Cup in my opinion, I thought he'd kick on, he hasn't.

Prior to injury, probably only Carvell has played well.

I'm with you on that thought Harrison & Blythe were going to stand out this season but like you say they have been disappointing so far!

Harrison had a cracking world cup & Blythe looked good in the reserves but a big let down so far fingers crossed they'll come good.... hope so

Harrison, Blythe and a lot of the other youngsters have all shown some potential despite having never played under the guidance of a world class coach. Let's see what they can do in the next season or 2, they all start with a clean slate in my view.

Anderson the L and Anderson the V haven't really stood out for me, in any of the 3 categories.
