I think a year at Wigan will have done him good, no Powell anymore and he's been used to higher standards. I'm looking forward to having him back and think Burgess will be happy to have him as well.

Has he actually been that great for Wigan? He's gone just okay from what I've seen, but nowhere near as effective as he was before his LeBron James -esque pay day.
I really hope Burgess can get the best out of him.

I am sure our fans will be pleased that we are getting back a lad who came through our own academy rather than bringing in some Aussie who is overpaid, overrated and doesn't look like he's bothered playing for the jersey.

Reading the comments on the Wigan forum, they seem disappointed that he's leaving. With big Sam at the helm, it's a new start for him so hopefully we see the best of him again, and to be fair he was descent pre-contract.
