Play Minikin, with Wrench as substitute.
Wrench definitely needs to play though, to give him some game time, the next reserve game is too far into the future. |

He will most likely play Mata’utia there but why not Hayes, he as been included in the 21 a couple of times lately so why not give him the spot. On the other side if he did play Mata’utia as I suspect and he then gives Wrench the centre spot scenario is he plays a stormer and keeps it the following week. |

Agreed, plus, we're 4 points clear so it gives us some breathing space. Hayes played some games last season so I assume Powell thinks physically he is ready to step in for sporadic games.
Hayes at 7, Mata'utia to start at centre with Wrench on the bench, if its going badly take Hayes off Mata'utia to half back, Wrench to centre. Otherwise plan for Hayes 80 minutes and Wrench 40 coming on at centre. |
