Bullock injured again?

Well I won't be happy if he's been dropped in favour of Dudson, he's MUCH more effective than Dudson.

Not injured. Dropped.

Use Dudson for a couple of games till he gets banned again then bring Bullock back fresh as a daisy for the assault on Wembley.

Seems odd to drop your forward with the highest average gain per carry but there must be method in it.

Did he have a shocker against Catalans does anyone know? I always had the feeling Powell with go for Dudson over Bullock just on the basis that Dudson is a ‘signing’. If Bullock had a mare last week then fair enough but even then that would be his first bad game in a LONG time.

He didn't have a mare, but then again Dudson didn't stand out. Maybe Bullock has not been pulling his weight in training, maybe Dudson has worked his socks off and Powell wants to reward him. Who knows...

Surprised and disappointed to see Minikin on the bench rather than Wrench. Minikin has been solid, admittedly, but I don't think there's any way he should be keeping Wrench out of the team, if Wrench is as 'good to go' as Powell has been suggesting.

Bullock can look good going forward with the ball but can be a bit flat footed and out of position in defence at times. I don't know if that is the reason he is dropped though. I think tonight's match will be pretty frenetic, in the mood of a derby match, so perhaps that might be a reason to hold Wrench back. Who knows what is in the coaches mind but this looks to be a side that Powell has chosen with a view to winning the game and little else.
