Not sure if the fact we are playing Salford today is stirring the memories but one that came to mind was that Kidwell pass at Salford in 2002 that pretty much went straight along the ground, with a Salford player picking it up and running 60m to score.

Didn’t Dale Cardoza do that once for us in front of the Fletch?

Wasn't that match also live on sky and Alan hunte was the guy who ran half the field to score that try under the floodlights and running to the railway end.

| Chris Bridge trying a speculative chip over the top late into a game against Saints, which then gave them field position to go and win the game.
Sonny Bill Williams slipping over the dead ball line at the HJS in a world cup group match, and most of the crowd pishing themselves laughing.

| Quote easyWire="easyWire"Shaun Ainscough. Ex Wigan winger. The most criminal thing I’ve ever seen on a rugby field. The hooter had gone and the game was won. All he had to do was kick it out or take the tackle.

That Bridge moment was the first to come to mind after the Atkins one.
I have another one. Ritchie Mathers chasing back a kick against Wigan at the DW, fluffs it so badly he ends up doing some strange forward roll before ending up sliding along the grass on his face with his body in the air.

Get back under your bridge,
There was 2.5 minutes left and a long drop out wouldn't have gone to half way and would have eaten up the clock and a drop out from an easier position. It was for me a risky play but was worth a go.
It was Duftys housing that got the possession back. Also I thought that Dufty was one of the few players that came away with any credit when players couldn't be d to get behind the line so he could run out the tap from the 20 was shameful.
Lots wrong today but that for me wasn't even the key/worst moment of that match let alone a contender for worst play ever.
