It would, but right now and probably next season as well, I feel Hill is the better player. I like English a lot but Chris Hill is a proven top level prop and he is still churning out top performances, in fact he has been a lot better this season than he has for 3 or 4 seasons without the weight of the captains armband putting him off his game.

According to one poster on redvee, who made a list of what our players were on, ratchford gets a quarter of a million per season! Mamo was on 100k as well, makes you wonder why he left.

Just out of interest what does anyone think of a George King return? He's done well for Hull KR this season from what I've seen.

That's not good enough really. We need one more established prop to my mind. Look how Wigan have struggled, especially against better teams. They don't have to be world beaters (Amor, LMS), but too many callow youths or small fellas (Philbin) won't lead us to the GF.
