Not qualified just yet but after consulting with my supervisor, 'salmonking' appears to be demonstrating the symptoms of anonymous-sadist-syndrome. "ASS" for short. Some psychoanalysts have also identified troblesome childhood relationships with father's resulting in a failure to develop a mature self-esteem and subsequent irrational hate and anger towards others on internet forums. The forum is yet again becoming a no go area for anyone who wishes to utter anything other than glowing about the club.
You have to be in the chosen clique to have a view.
No wonder a lot of people have stopped contributing.

I sense a little angst in your post. Would you like to talk about it? Only kidding, I'm not interested.

What you could do though is point out where somebody, no, anybody glowed about the club on this topic? Beware, failure to identify a "glowing" post might result in people thinking you were just trying to pick a fight with someone.

As for this chosen clique, I wasn't aware of any initiation ceremonies resulting in selection for said clique (I wouldn't know 'The Butcher from Adam. Oh how ironic if The Butcher's name was actually Adam. Ha). Perhaps many fans have ostracised themselves without realising it. And, as is so often the case, may well be accusing others of forming some sort of secret societies that operate on an invitation only basis.

PR, I'm sure, at heart, you're a decent sorttttttt so on that basis I won't enter to a boring debate with you (Not because I think you're boring but because Turkey debates of this nature are boring. Jeesh, gotta be careful what you say these days).

There's nothing wrong with questioning anything about the Club, it's just a lot of those that do, do it in such a way as to make themselves look stupid. Those that think about what they're going to say before they type make some great points. Those that get angry, smash their hands on the keyboard, and turn up just to write negativity without thought deserve to have a little fun poked out of them.

You are the only person on this thread trying to make out that some people shouldn't have posted on here.

It is a forum after all and all views however daft should be allowed (I should know I spout enough of them)
You must admit though there has been a very worrying drop in different posters on the forum, maybe it goes along with the current lack of interest in the club, maybe many wont post again after being slated in the past.
As for a clique, come on you must know what I mean

Part-time posters just come on here and spout any old e when we lose. A couple of people having a bit of fun with them is hardly contributing to the amount of new posters we get. Or reasoned argument for that matter.

As for the Turkey's demographic. Well, it mirrors the terraces. A hardcore of regulars with plenty of also-rans that pop by from time to time but don't follow the Club closely. Then you get a handful of people who show up and gob-off when something negative happens, which is fairly often around Salford.

stating fact , it was poop on fri !!!!!!!!!!!! after suppoting for over 36 years ,perhaps i'am not "hard core " enough to write on the board, but you can always check out my loyality and support to the club every week and year in the match day programme, where i hand over my hard earned dosh to be a players sponser,plus many other types of financial support of the club.
