A good hard working prop, British and when you read about the difficulties he is currently experiencing with his son being ill you would suspect he'd be highly motivated to grasp any offer of a playing contract with both hands.

I know we don’t need another outside back as we can focus on other key positions but I ask the question would Jordan Tansey be worth a punt, he’s young and British. Even if we used him as a squad player as he provides cover for a number of key positions. I’ve always thought he has got some talent in his armoury it’s just the off field problems this player brings on himself. Maybe Mr Parish is the sort of disciplinarian Tansey requires.

Sorry but Tansey lurches from one misdemeanour to another, as we've seen before when you have one rotten apple it soom starts to spread to others in the squad.

So did we decide to sign Joel Moon after you posted this then? if I've read it correctly he is a stand off or centre NOT a prop, winger or second row/loose forward.

People should know better than posting 'definite' signings from a 'reliable' source. Even if they were right originally, deals change, go cold, and other players become available. Signings are rarely cut and dry.



I would like confirmation from the Club about Moon though, just to put my mind at ease. Although, if the player says so, it's hopefully done and dusted.

Well of the two we have been linked with I've spoken to a friend in Oz who says the following.



[iMoon, quality signing. However is biggest problem has been his inability to nail a position. He has adopted the 'utility' tag and can play an array of positions. In my opinion, if he can stay in one place be it centre or stand-off, you'll see the best of him. He's definitely got the ability.



McPherson is a big lump of a lad. Very fit and strong. Will add some muscle and size to the Reds pack for sure. Only criticism i'd have of him, is that he needs to play more minutes. But perhaps at Souths he's been restricted due to the plethora of props they've got in their ranks.
