I think usually it's Wetherspoons before the game and Hop Pole after for a spot of karaoke? You can get beer in the ground and they sell 2-pint glasses from what I hazily remember..

We're in the standing end - the end John W kicked that penalty towards. I think the pub you're thinking of is the Lord Rodney, which is behind the seated stand at the other end.

Thaler, for me, is the worst ref around and never should have come up from National League's...he was very poor last season at NL level when we had him and I've not seen anything since to say he's improved at all.
