You know, ejection from the ground, bans, fines, and so on. So why did our stewards allow some idiot in a batman costume to keep coming on to have a go at Ignito and do nothing but have a very brief word and tell our mascot to go elsewhere?



If that had been the other way around we'd be getting lambasted by all and sundry. It's a good job it didn't interfere with play...

To be fair he was hardly having a go at your mascot was he!!!!!!! It was a bit of light hearted fun, that had the crowd laughing. I did say to my other half at the time, that he should not have been on the pitch, so that is a fair comment. However, there was no malice intended.

The steward saw "batman" coming the first time and let him go right past

It caused a few laughs but it is an offence and he was lucky not be kicked out etc. "ignito" whatever the bloody hell that thing is, is an abysmal mascot im afraid to say.

Stood next to a steward and someone mentioned it and he said 'It's not my ground I don't really care, as long as I get paid'. Made me laugh.



But it was hardly offensive, just a bit of fun.

Tell you what, then. I'll run on the pitch at Bradford and floor their mascot, playing the "it's only a bit of fun" card. I'll let you know how I get on.

They allowed the Rovers girl on to dance with the Salford mascot so at least they are consistent

In all seriousness, however a laugh it may have been, it was very slack stewarding in my opinion. Shouldn't have been allowed on the pitch.

Not that I give a poop about ignito but poor stewarding. It might have been a laugh but the steward was not to know that when he ran past him. After the issues with cas fans a few weeks back we need to seriously look at our stewarding arrangements. They are not worth having there at all as it is at the moment.



And GT I seem to remember someone doing this at Odsal in the play off game the other year and he did get thrown out so your spot on.

He asked the steward if he could go on the pitch and he said yes, Ignito is a poor mascot.

Bring back the duck!!
