Does anyone know the cut off date for new signings to be eligible/ineligible for the 8's comps?

Knowing the RFL/SL, they probably haven't thought of that yet. When a side brings five new players in at that stage they will probably introduce it the year after.

The rules for loans and DR are different

They should have to play x amount of games to be able to play in the middle eights. Im sure there was such a rule for the GF playoffs

.....but surely that's "micro-management" by the RFL.........the very reason they ditched licencing.



Why don't they just tell everyone to play home and away and then at the end of the season, they'll tell us how many teams qualify for the play offs (depending where Wigan/Saints/Leeds finish)......

...relegation will only come into effect if THEIR tenants Bradford win the Championship and Wakefield or Castleford finish Bottom.

DR and Loan players must have played 3 games. Also DR and loan players must be with the club for the duration of the middle 8s from game 1. They cannot go back and play for their parent club.

OR the SL club retains the players for the 8's in case of injuries, etc. They can only play for one or the other not both.
