Great Britain Armed Forces Squad for Semi Final against New Zealand
Head Coach Wayne Okell MBE has today announced his squad that will meet New Zealand in the Semi Final. His selection for this game sees a number of key personnel missing out; however he is absolutely positive that he has picked the strongest and fittest squad available. He has specifically picked players in good form that he believes can successfully guide the team to the World Cup Final.
Facing New Zealand for a second time will be a serious challenge, but he is content that to win this tournament his players must consistently test themselves against the strongest of opponents this avenue will certainly test the strength and depth of the squad and Okell would not want it any other way.
The coach is quoted as saying “We are doing it tough and this is the path we have chosen to get a second crack at the Australians”.
