Patterson is 25 and i think Poore will be 28 when the season starts. I think it's pretty unlikely they'd make the squad anyway

Poores poor, Patterson is a decent player though I think he plays for USA?

Paterson coached the Hawaii side is a game against qld aboriginal side - they lost by 70 or so.



He has played for the Aboriginal all stars side, but I don't think that disqualifies him. His mother is English and lives in England.

Without them even playing a game over here it is hard to tell if they will or won't be near the squad come the end of the year. If good enough then should be welcomed into the squad.

To me it just shows what the Aussies think of the SL when they come over with an English passport and think they can walk into the England team. If Poore gets any where near the National team i'm turning my back on the game. He has never even registered on my radar as being a top player in the NRL and I watch a lot of it.

According to Patterson on Twitter he's made himself available for England. I was probably wrong, I think he could make the squad as he's having a great season so far.
