you don't need 2 refs to speed up the play the ball...1 has done it just fine up until this season in super league,laying on and fannying about on the floor should have been nipped in the bud weeks ago before it got ingrained as standard practice...thats what happened in australia,the PTB messing about effected the game so much it became boring,dull one up rugby....our game will go the same way unless the RFL issue clear and effective rules around the PTB now before it becomes the norm...
we all know how tight the RFL are when it comes to money,do you really think they want to employ another 7 full time 'pocket refs'???
