| Does anyone have a clue whats going on with the new stock arriving at the club shop.
In January they had sold out of all shirts bigger than a size medium (which basically means all adult sizes given how small they are)
I think all the track tops also sold out almost straight away as well.
Initally we were told that a new supply would be coming in in mid Feb, well thats a month ago now and suprise supries no communication from the club.
How can it be that adults are unable to buy shirts and other merch 7 weeks in to the season. I know loads of people wanting to make purchases.
I feel its a big income stream we are completely failing to take advantage of.
Have the club made another balls up? Have we been let down by Kappa?
Can anyone shed any light?

| I was told larger shirts would be available in February.
When I went into the shop in February and asked again when beer-loving adult sized shirts would be available, I was told: "No idea"
Not really helpful. But it has saved me £50 by not buying a thin, cheap looking shirt.

| I've been going up regular. I got mine for a Xmas present and it goes nowhere near me and I've been waiting to get it changed for a bigger size. All they say is we have no idea when there coming in. I'm fed up of being fobbed off. If they don't have it next time I'm up there I'm asking for my money back.

| There was a rumour on Twitter going round a month or so back, and may have even been reported on the Love RL gossip column, that an un-named club was in dispute with a kit supplier and give the shenanigans that have gone on since we switched to Kappa I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s us. Even if not, something is going on, we’ve left ISC with a year to go on the contract (I think, may be wrong), and consequently bungled our way into getting a load of shirts completely the wrong size in. Given the balls up with the away shirt a couple of years ago, you have to suspect that the error lies at Odsal rather than at two separate kit makers. Still, I’m sure our glorious leader Mr. C will be letting us know yet again how the chairmen of Wigan and Sheffield know nowt about running a club compared to him in his next matchday missive.
That said, it’s a huge shame. There has been a hole burning in my pocket for both the shirts since they were announced, and I can’t be the only one.

| I like the new jersey but having seen the quality in the shop I decided against it. They didn’t have my size anyway.
These back office balls ups seem to be a common theme. At least the spelling has improved on the press releases and social media. I think the culprit has gone on to bigger things, last seen as part of the UK Government Brexit negotiating team.
Joking apart the club can ill afford this sort of shambles.

| I called into the shop last week, and enquired if the larger shirt sizes had arrived as I needed to change the one I received as an xmas gift.
The ladies were quite embarrassed when they told me that they still hadn't arrived. They had "no idea" when they were expected.
I did point out that we were promised delivery by mid February and we would be advised by email.
One of the ladies said " yes, perhaps we should send out an email to let everyone know they're still not received".
Brilliant idea - communication is good, even when delivering bad news. Still no email.
Perhaps emails / letters to Mr C stating that "time is of the essence in this matter", together with a date for delivery or full refund would be appropriate.
At this rate, the season will be half over before they're received, and I won't be impressed. Unfortunately, this is yet another PR mess from the club

| Sounds like everyone has had the same spiel i have.
"We dont know when the shirts will be in".
But that doesnt provide any explanation as to what the actual issue is.
I was hoping there might be someone on here thats in the know or can explain what on earth is going on??

| You have to ask yourself, if you got this kind of service at Next, would you accept it?
Of course you wouldn't. And the club rely on that loyalty that people have to get away with giving poor customer service, which is what is being described on this thread. I'm sure most clubs have done it at some point, to varying degrees. They know you'll put up with more because it's your team.
I'd have had my money back by now. Perhaps if enough people requested a refund, they might be more inclined to give you some proper answers or do something about it.
That's not to knock the people who work in the shop either, I'm sure they'll be as in the dark as the fans. They're just in the unenviable position of having to take the flack. Another reason to not kick off with shop workers as it's very rarely their fault. You can point out poor customer service and ask for refunds while still being polite to the workers.

If it is us that’s being referred to, wonder if dispute is re: sizing. Ie we ordered x amount of small, medium, large etc and we’re arguing that kappa have supplied x amount of super small, extra small and small? . Could see how we could be arguing they should supply ordered amount is sizes we expect but equally it would have up to to us specify the sizing in terms of chest sizing and not just assume their definition of S,M and L matched ours.

| It would be typical if we're in dispute with them but it was our balls up with the ordering. I doubt we'll ever find out but it must be costing a few quid not having any shirts to sell.

In defence of the club, I picked up a large home shirt and in the collar advised was a large also. The actual size was a large junior shirt.

That would make a lot of sense, or even questioning the quality of the material considering what a lot of fans have said about it. But if it was the case, and it was the club taking an issue up with Kappa, why keep it quiet? Tell people that's the issue. You don't have to advertise it to everyone, but you can at least tell those that come in asking where their replacement shirt is. Then the customer service that everyone currently thinks is crap, is suddenly improved massively because at least you're being given a reason.
Instead of this "Oh your shirt doesn't fit, well we might swap it in a few months for you, might not, don't really know" guff that paying customers are currently getting.
I'm sure the club are as miffed about the situation as fans, because as has been rightly said, they'll be losing money out of this for people that want refunds or just won't bother. But equally there's ways of dealing with it and ways of treating your customers well in bad situations, and it doesn't appear they're very good at that.

| Shirts has been a mess for years, though this year takes the biscuit.
Two clubs ago I complained that there was nowhere to be seen a Size Chart - i.e yer actual chest/waist measurements of each size. This is standard. Anywhere you order form a million places on t'internet you can find actual size charts for most ranges. And the Bulls sell online, so I'd have thought it was essential.
But no. Too hard. They said that the shirts only come with letter sizes (S,M,XXL etc) but I pointed out that anyone in the office could take one of eahc out of the bag and measure it, job done. But - too hard.
And so we have to guess.
That's less bad if you go to the club shop in person, but a complete nightmare if you order otherwise, especially since the recent versions of XL etc have seemingly been allotted by dwarves in sub-Saharan Africa. Nobody's shirts fit.
The quality has been pretty poor, especially comparing with many old school shirts, but fans aren't prevented from buying by that (which is probably why cheapo shirts are ordered) but getting a shirt that is half the desired size is unacceptable.
Significant loss of income for the club, and a significant dent in goodwill. Doesn't make sense to me at all.

| To be fair to the club, when I went into the shop to buy mine, which was in the first couple of days of going on sale, the staff advised me to pick a size a couple up from my normal so I got an XXL instead of my normal L and I'm happy with it. Well, I'm happy with the size though the quality, flimsy material and not the best stitching, does leave a little to be desired.

Similar experience here as well. Each week I have a look online or either try and pop into the shop before a game and I've never been able to find what I want in stock or in the correct size. I have money ready to spend but the club are missing out on this.

| Purely because I don't want to start a new thread on this, and it's kind of related in the idea of customer service.
When the Bulls were selling season tickets this year, did they advertise them as including entry to home reserve & academy games too? I seem to remember seeing it, but not sure if I'm getting confused with the previous season.
Because I notice when they decide to play them at Dudley Hill, they're saying even season ticket holders have to pay. If they advertised those as part of your season ticket package, surely that was false advertising, regardless of what ground they decide to play the game at?

I've no doubt the money is staying at Dudley Hill. But if they advertised free to season ticket holders, then play them at another ground and charging, that's still false advertising. If they're going to choose to play them at another ground, then they should be covering the costs really.
I expect there'll be some small print somewhere that says it doesn't count if away from Odsal, but I'd be interested to see if that was the case or if they're just getting away with it on loyalty grounds like they are with the shirt situation.
