Is Blackmore available? Or has he still got knee issues? I’d be happy to go with DFJ and Tindall.

Blackmore is the squad so he must be fit, a few were less than complementary about his signing, I always found him to be an aggressive ball carrier that made plenty of metres. So far think he’s proved a few people wrong.

i can’t see Blackmore playing after his knee was in a brace like that only a week ago. Even if he has improved why risk him when we’ve two DR lads in the squad who can play wing plus DFJ?

Don’t think Cougars have got a great pack and their replacements aren’t great so I’d start solid to weather the early pressure Cougars will bring (their cup final) and have the bench come on and punch holes through the middle. Hence why I’d start Roby and bring Flanagan on to run.
I’d love to see Lawford as well with Lilley at 9. But I think we go with a similar side that did well against Sheff.'"
My only issue with that is that Roberts will be in the team somewhere as Leeds have given him to us for some game time.
So on the other wing from Tindall perhaps? |
