Certainly since the reformation of the competition in 2000, it knocked the Roosters demolition of Saints in 2003 off of the second best performance in the competition.
Neither team could have lived with the Bulls performance in 2005. |

Assuming you meant 2006, I'm not sure I agree. Manly were surely a class apart from anything we have seen in the WCC, especially in that third quarter before they relaxed a little too much? |

Wish I could agree, but realistically and without taking anything away from a superb Bulls performance in shocking conditions I don't think so. Regardless of who their personnel were, the Knights looked nothing like as prepared, professional and determined as Manly did, IMO.
I guess we'll never know though, because had Leeds been more effective at containing Manly then obviously they would not have looked as good. So its hard to compare directly, isn't it? |

Manly won fair and square, the best team on the night, and arguably one of the best RL teams in a long time. Orford was amazing as was Stewart.
