I wouldn't see why Leeds would be interested in a league player who last played league in a very poor team.

Iirc, he signed a three year deal after the 2002 season, and then bought out his contract either half way through 2003 (after a one game appearance on loan earlier on) or at the end of 2003. I'm not sure if for the second half of 2003 he came on loan again or he re-signed for us
