After witnessing wigans chav following last night its makes me think how can it be called a family game. People complain about the atmosphere at odsal but atleast you don't get p*ssed up kids coming to a game just to impress there boyfriends. Never amongst bradford fans have i ever felt embarrassed, we realise it is a family game and we don't want to tarnish the name of our club with prats going to a match to start fights. Odsal has always been a friendly environment and will always be that way, but other clubs need to take a look at there fans and realise its unnacceptable the way that some of them behave. And looking onto next week at Warrington i expect a big following from Bradford and i can honestly say win or lose our fans will do no damage to our clubs clean reputation.

Had 3 of them on the bus with me going into town at 10.30pm

They had missed there coach back and were looking for the train back to Manchester

No idea if they got it or not

They had scratches n bruises all over them



Also a few were in the Top House before the game

They told me they were Man Utd fans

Fair enough but this happens all too often on RL boards who seem to want to live in denial that there are some unsavouries that follow the game.



After all, if I was a Wigan Athletic chav who was looking for trouble, I would be more inclined to try and mix it with the likesof Man U's, or Chelseas, or West Hams' etc firms rather than travel to Bradford to mix it up RL fans who apparently do not fight.

They didn't miss their coach they were thrown off by fellow Wigans fans for fighting/swearing/racist chanting etc and stopped from travelling home by the driver. So I heard

you do realise the full title of the club you support is Bradford Bulls RLFC with the FC bit standing for football club dont you?. quite a few clubs drop the RL part - think Hull FC for example.

Precisely. That's why some of them pick RL to cause the trouble. They're more likely to be trying it on with people who don't want trouble. They know if they were trying it with one of the firms, they'd likely get a kicking.

Sadly there is a minority chav following that 'tag along' to the away games. Heard a few (must have all been around 15) yelling all sorts of insults at Bradford fans as they went passed. I just caught up with the Bradford fan and told him to ignore them and congratulated him on the win.



A pathetic bunch, but they are the minority. Good to hear about that coach driver kicking them off. Good Stuff!

I think that like most RL Clubs these days we have had a few muppets at Odsal from time to time, anyone remember 'Jinner' I think it was on the terracing?? What we have not got is a group of idiots who are there week in week out causing trouble, we also have a great reputation as away fans when we visit other grounds.



The good thing is that we seem to have lost the few that we had for the time being or they are not attracting any attention at the moment. The muppets from Wigan causing the aggro at Odsal and outside, as has been said, were condemned by their own fans and one was too drunk to be allowed back on the coach to go home so it speaks volumes about our game as a whole.



Those idiots who want to cause aggro, from wherever they come from, are made very unwelcome at most Rugby League grounds.
