I can forgive anything in a sports team I follow, except lack of effort and lack of heart, and I thought there were plenty of both on display tonight, in particularly the latter.

Whilst personally, I can't argue you with that point, however, I question if this is the right approach. No disrespect to players out there, but we need something a little bit more than effort if we plan to aim for some silver.

We were a lot better than pile of sh#te that played wigan tonight.

Forget silver, I'd just like to see a group of players who perform relative to their ability each week, occasionally overachieving.



If, as we are told, the players all think the coach is so brilliant why do they turn out performances like that for him out on the pitch?



They are far from a great squad but they are much better than this.
