We have had many weeks now of all this, and everyone is pretty well numbed to most it all now. In particular, we have had any number of vistors from other clubs - some of them even well-meaning, as you clearly are - telling is what we as supporters should be doing. Most of the advice has been impracticable or inappropriate in the present circumstances for a range of reasons but especially because of the pretty unique circumstances we found ourselves in with shareholders at war and one finally managing to win another to his side and stage a coup. To be honest, having a laugh is one of the few options left to us if we are to stay sane and rational - after all, some of the current protaganists have been having a laugh at our expense for some time now. I guess the alternative is to get so stressed that you start thinking about helping a few of the bad guys to go down with a bad case of head kicked in. However, I understand the local constabulary does not look upon such acts with a favourable eye, and so maybe they are best avoided. Incidentally, we already have an established supporters' trust. And we already know what would need to be done and how to do it (and the amount of work involved and the need for people who are both preapared and able to make the hard yards, out of the public eye and long after the high of publicity has gone). Same as we determined some time ago that there was little the fans could do as things stood, and especially in the middle of a crisis. Should the club exit SL and there be the appetite for it still to survive in some form, then IMO it is likely that that would be a route to be followed. But we are not at that stage right now. And without a wealthy backer, even if the club could survive outside of SL, IMO it could not be at Odsal, and there would not be a cat in Hell's chance of ever getting back into SL. Ever.

Its like we've been pointing out for some time, outside SL nobody is interested in ' financing ' you , which is what makes it so annoying when fans of SL clubs tell us, when you do this that and the other , and get some ' investement ' you will get your chance in SL
