So is this the reason for him not getting picked? It would be an explanation as to why our leading try scorer couldn't get in the side ahead of other players.

This could potentially explain his absence from the first team squad I suppose. Although it states he's not played for 5 weeks and if his absence is related to the arm infection it must be a pretty bad one to keep him out for this long.
