| So, reading on Sky Sports that Jon Wells's top 5 SL signings for the upcoming season are...….
Greg Inglis
Niall Evalds
Josh Reynolds
John Bateman
Ian Watson
Without having my Leeds tinted goggles on here, isn't Tetevano, a current Kiwi international prop not a top signing? seems a bit strange he's not included him.

| When I saw the subject, I expected to see a list of Wells's best signings for cas.
I'd have been pushed. A bit like trying to list elstones five greatest achievements

The argument against any logic like yours is that it's Jon Wells.

| Greg Inglis would’ve been a great signing...about 10 years ago. He will be anonymous this season, he’s done

Surely he guarantees it will be Warrington's year.
Just like the last one.

| agree about Inglis, he was a crock in his last few seasons at Souths, and is now a few years out of the game added to that. would love it if he had a great season and set the league alight but i would be surprised if he completes half a season let alone anything else.

| I actually think Inglis will go OK, but certainly not the force he once was. Will bring something to that camp...
I actually think they are short in the pack though...
Hill and Clark have been battered and slowing down now......

| Can't see Inglis lasting for 10 games me. He'll be back home quick enough.

| It’s quite ironic when it comes to Inglis. After we signed Eastmond, I saw a post on a well known Warrington fan page on a social media site saying ‘I wouldn’t touch Eastmond with a barge pole, he’s finished and this signing reeks of desperation. How the mighty have fallen'.......I kid you not.

| Like Eastmond, the signing of Inglis is a gamble - theirs more expensive but he will also draw in sponsors and fans.
I'd be wary of making clear pronouncements on how either of them will go when we simply have zero data to go on. If either come close to capturing previous form they'll be the signings of the season.

| For the avoidance of doubt I would love Inglis to light up the Competition and I hope he stays fit and healthy, wish him all the best. Agree there’s no current data to base a pronouncement on. But there’s a fair bit of relatively recent data which suggests he’ll struggle
