| There's been a good few poor Grand Finals over the years, we've been involved in a few of them. But Saturday was superb. We had the tension and end to end action of the first half, Saints surviving heavy early pressure. Brilliant defences on both sides only breached by one of the best GF tries ever seen. Then you have the Saints onslaught of the 2nd half. Magnificent Leeds defence finally breached after 10 minutes of Saints hammering away at the door. 10 minutes later the game looks gone, only for another momentum swing and some brilliant attack from Leeds to clinch it.
I don't know how it looked to most neutrals, but I thought it was a cracker.

| It's funny isnt it....I loved the match in the stadium but you dont really appreciate just what a sensational advert the match was for our sport until you watch it back again later. It was a game that had every emotion, with the momentum swinging one way then the other. A fantastic game to win, but a desparate game to lose for the Saints. It will be talked about for a long time as one of the great Grand Finals, and a great story as to how the Rhinos won it from 5th place!

| I certainly enjoyed it.
(Wish it could have been against Wigan but then again would Leeds have broken their Final duck against them had it been - so glad it wasn't just in case.)

| IMO right up there with the best Grand Finals and not saying that because we won. Both sides were a credit to the game.
The game had everything including great skill shown by all the players. Considering the bad weather conditions the handling and lack of errors was incredible. Despite the slippy pitch tha game was played at a fast pace with some outstanding tries.
The tackling was tough and the sporting attitude by the players was good. The momentum swung both ways and the drama continued the full 80. What more could do you want?

This.
Some of our other finals against Saints, and the "Voluntary Tackle Final" had plenty of tension and drama, but few of them had the relentless pace of action and quality of play on show on Saturday in my book.
For all the talk of it being 3rd v 5th and people suggesting the best 2 teams were not there (not my view, by the way) I was taken aback by the quality of the rugby. Both sides played out of their skins and went up a level or 3 from their semi finals.
I would call it Test Match intensity, but I'm not sure most England/GB test matches recently have matched it.
