appoligies if asked before but noticed most of the first team players had (what appeared to be )a three digit number on the lft of there shirt, just below the badge. Any ideas what it means as appears to be different for each player?

Apparently if you put three 000's at the end of these numbers it divulges their contract details

There have been a number of theories advanced when this topic has been discussed before. My favourite at the moment is that they are lot numbers for Keith's E-Bay sales.

Its their peg numbers, apart from Kirke, he just throws his stuff on the floor.

They are the final three digits of the telephone numbers for the Big Brother style evictions we have at the end of each season .

It's the player's PIN numbers .... You've only got to suss the other one and ID Theft is go !
