I agree that, given time, he might do well. But you have to ask yourself if whole Warrington club is set up correctly? you now have youth coming through but you still ahve to catch up with Leeds and Saints on that score and it WILL take time!!! Sinfield played his first senior game in 98 and it took us until 2004 to win a trophy!! Plus I have heard rumblings from your own supporters that your chief exec doesn't know what he's doing?
He is a great coach but you need more than just that nowadays. I also wouldn't be suprised if he doesn't see eye to eye with some of your "Superstars" either |

I wonder if Tony is thinking of encouraging some Leeds players to join him at Warrington. Hopefully this won't happen.
FWIW I reckon Briers and a few other weak links could be forced out at the end of the season, if not sooner.

If I were a Leeds player I would need some serious wonga to persuade me to drop down a level. I doubt they have much room on the cap either |

Tony Smith is some sort of coaching director while James Lowes is some sort of first team coach.
Who do I need to record as Warrington coach on Sunday..... when they lose.  |
