I don't think we actually need him this season.



The emergence of Kirke as a very good player, and the current form of Ablett means we have more than adequate cover in that position should we need it. You can also stick Worral there when he's fit, he's steady away IMO.

And as I aluded to on the other thread. Who of them covers prop when we are short?

As a stop gap (ie a couple of games) Kirke could slot in there, he's a big lad who runs and hits well.

What if its more? all ifs and buts I know, but typical of the modern game these days.

The days of 18 stone monsters at prop who can do 15 minute spells are numbered. Modern forwards have to be interchangeable, and Sam Burgess is the perfect example.
