Maybe unsurprising given the positional dicking about pre season. Hopefully it doesn't take too long for things to click, assuming we're switching to a more orthodox set up from here on in.

Pre season hames have never been an indication of anything IMO.



In everyone we’ve not really looked like we’re playing with any intensity and more just practicing.



Whereas Hull KR (and Leigh) we’re celebrating everything like it was a playoff game.

By the looks of it:



Roberts steamrollered by Hall for first 2 tries.



Handley flies out off his line (surprise surprise) and leaves a massive gap for their 3rd.



Sloppy defending by Tindall for the 4th.

Lazy marker defense for their 5th.





Leeds try also dubious.

Yeah thought you were going to be nilled and you might well have been had there been a video ref. Leon Ruan looked to be in touch before he grounded the ball but nevertheless it was still a good effort from him.



Rovers 3rd try the main culprit from your point of view was your Number 10 (Zane Tetevano?) who was swatted off with ease by Jordan Abdull.



On the day you were ordinary if I'm being polite but of course no competition points were lost. We'll see in due course how significant this game was.

The only significant thing that could come from this game is if Sezer cops a ban, which he shouldn’t, there was nothing he could do, have you had work done on the pitch as it was cutting up horribly which is why Coote slipped.

There's been a lot of rain in Hull but at least the pitch wasn't covered in sand!

It might have been safer if it had been.

I do think people read way too much into pre season games

I watched the highlights and Roberts didn't get run over twice unless they missed one? The one I did see he did a reasonable job I thought, against a big guy close to the line. He held him up long enough that if he'd got any help Hall wouldn't have scored. Tetevano was a bad miss leading to one try and some poor barge-over tries, but those should be fixable.
